Our Activities

Together for a Just and Caring Society.

World No Tobacco Day

On World No Tobacco Day, 31st May, we conducted awareness activities to educate youth and communities about the harmful effects of tobacco. The program aimed to encourage healthy living and informed choices, especially among the younger generation, through discussions, posters, and interactive sessions.

World Environment Day

Joshaba Udyog Vikas Mission proudly celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025. Over 500 participants joined us in promoting environmental responsibility. The event included an awareness program on cleanliness and a tree plantation drive to emphasize the importance of a green, clean, and sustainable future. The enthusiasm and active participation made it a memorable and impactful occasion.

Gaushala

Joshaba Udyog Vikas Mission operates a Goshala to rescue and care for abandoned, neglected cows roaming the streets. These cows, often injured or starving, are provided with food, shelter, medical aid, and compassionate care. We raise awareness among communities to protect gaumata and also provide training to educate them We aim to protect Gaumata, upholding our cultural and spiritual responsibility. The Goshala reflects our belief in kindness to animals and preserving traditional values in a modern, humane approach.

Skill Development

We believe skill is strength. Through our skill development programs, we train tribal and marginalized youth and women in various vocational trades. This empowers them with the confidence and ability to secure employment or start their own ventures. By bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, we uplift underprivileged communities and contribute to sustainable livelihoods and economic independence for those who need it the most.

Water Conservation

To promote environmental sustainability, we focus on water conservation by preserving and restoring local ponds and traditional water bodies. We also work on maintaining and improving the drainage system to prevent waterlogging and ensure cleaner surroundings. These efforts help conserve natural resources, support biodiversity, and create a healthier, more resilient ecosystem for current and future generations.

Tree Plantation

We organize regular tree plantation drives to combat deforestation and promote environmental sustainability. Planting trees helps improve air quality, restore biodiversity, and mitigate the effects of climate change. Our goal is to create greener surroundings, spread ecological awareness, and inspire communities to protect nature. This initiative is a step toward a healthier planet, where people and the environment thrive together in harmony.

Agricultural Development

Joshaba Udyog Vikas Mission encourages sustainable farming by promoting the use of organic methods and natural fertilizers like cow dung and cow urine. We educate farmers on environmentally friendly techniques that boost soil fertility and crop yield without harming nature. This initiative supports healthier food production, reduces chemical dependency, and revives traditional farming wisdom, improving the livelihoods of farmers and the health of consumers.

Anti-Addiction Awareness

Addiction severely impacts youth, families, and society. We conduct awareness campaigns and workshops to educate people, especially young individuals, about the dangers of substance abuse. Through open dialogue, counseling, and community participation, we aim to prevent addiction before it starts. These efforts create a supportive environment where healthier choices are encouraged, helping individuals lead safe, responsible, and meaningful lives free from addiction.

Awareness against Female Foeticide

In rural areas, gender bias often leads to female foeticide due to lack of education and awareness. We run campaigns to change this mindset by educating communities about the value of the girl child. We advocate against prenatal sex determination and killing, highlighting the emotional, social, and legal consequences. Our mission is to protect unborn girls and promote gender equality at the grassroots level.

Health Camps

To provide basic healthcare access to underprivileged populations, we conduct free health camps. These camps offer medical checkups, diagnosis, treatment, and medicines in collaboration with reputed doctors and hospitals. Many people in rural and tribal areas cannot afford regular health services; our camps bridge that gap. Early diagnosis and proper care help prevent diseases and promote a healthier, more informed community.
